Tired of capsules tipping over, powder all over the counter, and never knowing if this capsule matches the last one?
The Capsule Filler Scoop holds your capsule half upright on your scale while you fill. Tare it, fill to your target weight, and get the same dose in every capsule — no pinched fingers, no spills, no guessing.
How to fill capsules by hand with the scoop
- Load — place a capsule half in the scoop
- Zero — set the scoop on your scale and tare it
- Fill — add your powder to both halves
- Weigh — fill to your exact target weight
- Press — align the halves and click them together
Choose your capsule size
Capsule sizing runs backwards — the more zeros, the bigger the capsule. Each scoop fits exactly one size, and the size is marked on the handle so you always grab the right one.
| Size | Approx. volume | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| 000 | ~1.37 ml | The largest standard capsule |
| 00 | ~0.91 ml | The most common size for home filling |
| 0 | ~0.68 ml | Standard mid-size |
| 5 | ~0.13 ml | Micro capsules — nearly impossible to fill neatly without a holder |
How many milligrams fit depends on your powder — fluffy powders weigh far less than dense ones in the same capsule. That's why filling to a target weight beats eyeballing a level scoop.
Not sure which size you have? Check the bag or listing your empty capsules came from — the size is always stated. Still not sure? The Combo Pack includes one scoop of each size — and ships free.
Why use a scoop instead of a capsule machine?
Capsule machines are built for batches of 24, 50, or 100 capsules of one powder. If you fill smaller batches, switch between powders, or need each capsule to hit a specific weight, a machine adds setup and cleanup without adding accuracy. The scoop lets you fill one capsule at a time, check it on the scale, and rinse it clean in seconds.
Made for you if
- You fill your own empty capsules at home
- You want every capsule to contain the same amount
- You fill small batches and a capsule machine is overkill
- You've fought tiny size 5 capsules with your fingers
