Which capsule size do I have?
Size 00 is the most common size sold for home filling. If you bought empty capsules and aren't sure, check the bag or listing you ordered them from — the size is always stated. Still not sure? The Combo Pack includes one scoop for each of the four standard sizes, so you're covered no matter what's in the drawer.
What's the difference between the sizes?
Capsule sizing runs backwards from what you'd expect — the more zeros, the bigger the capsule. Size 000 is the largest standard capsule, size 00 is the most common, size 0 is a standard mid-size, and size 5 is a micro capsule (and nearly impossible to fill neatly without a holder). Each scoop is matched to exactly one size, so the capsule sits snug and upright while you fill.
How do I use it?
Place a capsule half in the scoop, set the scoop on your scale, and zero it out. Fill the capsule with your powder — both halves — filling to your target weight. Then align the halves and press together until they click. No pinching, no tipped capsules, no spills.
Do I need a scale?
For consistent, repeatable fills — yes, that's the whole point of the design. The scoop holds the capsule upright and stable on the scale so you can zero it out and fill to an exact weight. Any small digital scale with a tare function works.
Why fill by weight instead of eyeballing?
Powders vary in density, so two capsules that look equally full can hold very different amounts. Filling to a target weight on a zeroed scale is the only way to make every fill match the last one.
How do I clean it?
Rinse with warm water and let it air dry. The smooth finish doesn't trap powder, so there's no scrubbing.
